Cling On, Let Go or Be Free

Anger as a reaction to being hurt... It's like you've been stabbed in the heart by someone. You take their weapon and continue to stab yourself in the heart over and over again. The heart bleeds continuously. Your heart and mind are severely disturbed.
Forgiveness as a response to being hurt... It's like you've been stabbed in the heart by someone. You take their weapon and throw it away. The heart bleeds briefly, then stops. Your heart and mind waver but quickly return to peace.
Don't take it personally... It's not yours. There was never any harm done in the first place. Heart and mind remain peaceful.
