A Blessing For The U.N. Millennium World Peace Summit Of Religious And Spiritual Leaders

Golden dragon dances so brilliantly in the heaven
celebrating the Religious Summit in the new Millennium.
Many faiths cooperate as one
to pull up the root of poverty for the new generations,
to purify and to raise us to be with the One -
the untainted heart is the soul of the new Millennium.

In this year of the Golden Dragon and the new Millennium, let us unite and begin anew. Every teaching is from that one source. Let us all work together to pull up the root of poverty because only when the world has real peace and stability, will poverty naturally disappear.

Know yourself, conquer yourself, and return to that nature of untainted spirit. For true world peace and for this highest ideal, we earnestly pray that:

  1. Although each faith has different practices, they share the same ideal... "To work together for world peace."
  2. We learn from every religion because each has its teaching that we can benefit from, helping us to improve ourselves and conquer ourselves.
  3. We can truly conquer ourselves, and continue to raise ourselves to a higher level.
  4. When we truly raise our level, we will then truly enter a culture of high degree, and the world will have real peace and stability.
  5. For true world peace, we pray every religious school will work together under the guidance of the United Nation, and have this World Peace Summit be the guiding light of the world.

Let everyone's heart follow the goodness and ideal of the Summit and let us work together.

Make it happen for a better tomorrow.
